06 Silverado hd or not hd 1500

Need to replace tie rod ends and all joints in the truck, not sure the difference, never messed with anything this new
Anyone got some insite?

The IFS makes it really similar to working on a 2WD vehicle, ball joints are press fit, HF has a tool to do it on the truck.

I've done ball joints before and I have that press, I'm trying to figure out if it's hd or not before I order my parts, it has the hd hood but no badges to go along with it, it's also lifted 3" and I'm unsure wether or not I need different ones

There's 1500hd, but I wouldn't think it to be 8 lug, idk, I'm not as knowledgeable on the gmt800s as I am the squares

1500HD was 8 lug, kind of a bastard model seeming like a CCSB light duty 3/4 ton. Check your SPID and lift kit to see what's there or supposed to be there.
