Welcome to the club from the Phoenix Arizona area. Let's see some pics of that bad boy. I am currently building a 78 slammed on the ground (literally). LS & a 6 speed.

decent price on a big block Suburban

I think it's a given it's 3/4 ton. Only posted it in case any of our brothers from the rust belt looking. For a starter project it looks solid enough to me.

decent price on a big block Suburban

Either way, his ad text doesn't state 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton, so I don't think he is trying to pass it off as something it's not.

decent price on a big block Suburban

Yep. I don't think they put the 454 in 1/2 tons did they? He probably put C10 on the detail sheet in error.

decent price on a big block Suburban

"All Arizona interiors are ate up". But I would gladly trade dash pad and seat cushions for rusty rockers and cabs.

decent price on a big block Suburban

Well, I am not a suburban guy, but this looks to be a solid big block fuel injected example of a typical Arizona rust free truck. Somebody could make a really nice truck out of this one, I bet. Anyhow, thought I would share...

Blazer or Suburban tank for relocation?

Looks like I will have to have a custom tank made cause the distance from the rear crossmember to the front edge of the rear of my c-notch will not let me put a stock tank in it otherwise. Have to search around.

First start complete, now what? Lol

Your truck is looking sharp. Great news on the start up. Always feel like a huge weight is lifted off my shoulders when they can finally fire right up with the turn of a key. Huge motivator for me to push em across the finish line.

Pickup Body to Suburban Frame Swap?????

"Anything can be done" with enough time, work, patience, and money. Just have to add in all the variables to see if it pencils out. I would think you would just be better off getting what you want to start out with. Even if you have to update axles.

    Lowering a 4x4??? I don't get it!!!

Your last statement said it all. Just don't comment. "UNLESS" they ask "what do you think", then it's fair game. But I also try to think to myself "is it nice to say this?, is it kind?, True? necessary?, if any of these is no, I just move on and keep my dam opinion to myself. Or at least I try...

    Lowering a 4x4??? I don't get it!!!

Amen. I go to a car show here (been happening every Saturday night for over 20 years) that old guys with hot rods rule during the day. About 5 or 6 old guys start going home. Younger crowd starts showing up with their wicked fast (some) or obnoxious exhaust, some turbos, etc. Anyhow, they are...

I always want new interior anyways. Cost the same to change an old dash pad or a rotten dash pad.
