I've been an auto tech (GM) for over 10 years. I've built several classics, pro-street, and customs; But, never a square body.
I began building this truck with the engine. To save time, I had 6500 bucks, and my machine shop, Jegs, or Summit got it all! I assembled it for beer:)
Then I followed that by throwing a TH400 W/BnM shift kit and 2800 stall
Finished it off with a FoMoCo 9" 3:73

I lowered the front with coil springs and control arms, the rear with a traction bar system.

The truck was originally painted a really unique blue/green color (I believe to be "terrace blue")
And just the roof was white of some sort. I'm torn between going back super glossy w/OEM scheme, Satin w/OEM scheme, or black satin w/satin white top.......

I feel like I want to chop top it a little, but also undecided. Pretty sure I'm going to shave everything on the body, and install custom shaped LED third brake light, as well as rear brake/tail lights. Suicide doors are an absolute must!
No matter what, when I'm done, it will be perfection!
I love doing body work on MY projects......
I am always impressed, because I'm use to seeing production work, and I am a perfectionist!
Roll pans front and rear were also a random thought I considered.

I'm undecided on my interior as well. It's a dark blue color. Currently has two mediocre bucket seats in it. Not sure what they are from......
Not sure if I want to go with a 60/40, bucket seats, or old school and put a bench in with custom upholstery
. I also considered a floor shifter.....

I'm going to upgrade the front brakes, and convert rear ones to disc.

I'd like to put a pretty wide set of rear tires on. Not sure how wide I can go without tubbing my bed, and that really doesn't pose a problem, but I'd rather not cut my axle.
Not sure the height of wheel, but was thinking 22x12 in rear, 20x10 in front?????
Not sure on a style either........

So many ideas floating around in my mind, lol

What are some of you guys' thoughts?

What would you do differently?
