rusty floor, rocker panel, kick panel repair V10 1987

Here is some pictures of the works done on my 1987 5.0 long bed.

The rocker panel, side part of the floor and the kick panel was gone, i bought replacing parts and cut the rusty parts then welded (not me a friend) the new parts.

the floor, the kick panel, and the front inside panel are done.

It is butt welded, once the weld are grinded, you almost can't see the joint.

the left side with the door on to check missalignment

I have to rework the bottom line of the left rocker panel which is not very straight, some hammer job should reshape it the right way.
That was all for a saturday job.

as the side of ther corner har already been replaced and most of the rocker panel is in good shapee, i only did the rear part which is easier to put in location.

i did different tries to join the floor and the inner rocker panel, so the part is modified in the next pictures.

Joinning the floor and the rocker by hammering and then welding, and then put back a new bottom A pilar part cutted to fit my cut lines.

Next week i hope to put back the external rocker panel, and the metal part of the body work will be done.
