Yup that’s when I knew Ford definitively lost their collective marbles.
I had couple of them as work trucks and it was nice to have a heavier rear suspension but was still a F150 by another name.
Not to mention, a bad decision for 2nd 3rd owners buying a newer vehicle with totally obsolete components already.

I had a coworker that had one at one point, a 98 or 99 IIRC. He had aftermarket wheels on it! I asked him "where in the hell did you find wheels for that dumb thing??" He said American Racing made that bullet hole style wheel for those trucks for a very short time, he bought a set and they told him that was the last one before they were to be discontinued

You can google search for free plans- they’re out there- but I thought it was cool that this guy did a video on instagram on how he built it and donated the plans to this resource. Mounted new sway bar brackets, and got the sway bar mounted. Cleanded up bumper brackets and mounting bolts. Mounted the front bumper. Finished the rear brake line. Just little odds, and ends.

I wish it was nice enough to sand and paint here in Washington…
Oh well… just means I have more time to make plans to spend more money in the spring when I pull the whole thing down to the frame!
I can’t wait!
