So I figured it out today and got her fired up! First time she has ran in probably ten years.
I’m happy as can be. The ignition has something loose inside the column. I hit the steering column a couple times and the starter started clicking again. I checked with a tester at the battery terminal and had power and checked at the terminal from ignition and that had power. So I started checking grounds. Couldn’t find one the the engine. Really all I could find besides headlights and hood was the battery to the frame. So I added a ground to the engine and she fired right up. Took a couple sprays of starter fluid but she started idling fine. Still has some old gas in it. Fairly certain the tanks are about empty so I might throw in a can of Seafoam and new gas and see where she goes from there. Took the shell off too. Hated it. Wish I could add a video, is that possible? I’m brand new to this forum.
