Zombie Defense / Assault Vehicle Build

Great ideas! I've often thought about a zombie defense vehicle too. You just never know...

I'll add that you would need a sturdy bumper/grille guard and a decent selection of hand tools. On board air would be a plus. As would at least 2 spare tires. And of course, a bunch of guns.

Oh and maybe a chainsaw, you know, for hand to hand combat...

I've thought of that already too as far as a Zombie Pusher on the front. Guns??? Oh yeah, there will be plenty.

You are definitely gonna some beefy bumpers front and rear. It also would benefit from a complete exo-cage. Added stiffness for running the fuggers over and incase you happen to roll the whole shabang. Why take any chances!

I like the idea of having an exoskeleton but I don't know that it would be worth all the added weight. Every time I see a zombie show or movie, there are always 1000 military humvees just sitting there and they always stay in whatever piece of crap they are already in. I wouldn't mind snagging a humvee and a small trailer if I didn't have the opportunity to build my lwb quad cab cummins monster that I have envisioned.

That vehicle has spend alot of time in OK chasing storms. There's 2 vehicles similar to that, said to be able to drive them right into a tornado.

Yep, he's been through my hometown a few times. I actually talked to him for several minutes while they were waiting for the storm to move in. That thing is bad ass. 6x6, bulletproof windows, etc.

Yeah, I'd definitly rather be in a stock burb than alot of other vehicles...Although I'm not going to front...if I saw a quad cab Ford Raptor...I think I would jump in and not think twice about the fact that its a Ford.

This is more along the lines of what I would probably build. With a tad more front-end protection and some bars across the windshield.
