Thanks to ACERT technology you could track around in that thing for a really long time without needing fuel. They are designed to constantly be under a heavy load pushing dirt around. They are not fast, top speed in 3rd gear is about 10 mph, and from the operators seat it is terrifying fast.

Nothing is going to stop it, nothing is going to climb up to the operators seat and dozers are everywhere. they used one in the move Tremors....

A great vantage point for shooting too, but also makes you a big target.

I used to drive a big ass honkin Baker Forklift. Those are fun as hell, but yeah, when your going about 20mph, it's pretty damn fast, and you could actually get up to about 30mph. A bit harder to steer with rear steer wheels. Very very responsive so you had to be careful at that speed. It had like a 15 speed trans if I recall. Had a L M and H, then had 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Maybe 10 speed with L and H and then the 5, can't remember now, but it had options for next to not even moving in L 1st on up to about 30 in H 5th. That bitch was badass. I loved that lift.

Here's a good starting point. 6x6 G Wagon, 544 hp, 560 ft. lb. torque. I'm thinking an M134 minigun sticking out the top would be on my options list.

Video Errored, but, the pic looks nice. BUT, I didn't intend on spending $150K - $200K to run from Zombies. I was thinking more long the lines of retrofitting a 4x4 Burb.

Russian BTR60 for a crew of about 14...

Russian BDRM2 APC for a crew of about 5...

And when you need tracks, a Russian BMP1 for a crew of about 7...

And when it's time to quit ******* around, a Russian T-72, crew of 3 or 4...

The reason I posted these is you wouldn't believe how affordable they are. The BTR-60 can be bought for under $20k, the BDRM2 for around $10k, the BMP1 around $30k and the T-72 for around $50k. It's the import fees and the ATF spiking the firing mechanism that sux.

I dont think I have ever run an entire tank of fuel through a 10T in one shift, I have had to run the piss out of it for 12 hours too. Last night I managed to run an 11R out of fuel in like 8 hours somehow, I could not believe it.

They are a blast, I have way to much fun at work sometimes. Our dozers dont want to climb natural repose, they just spin the tracks. If I bail off my dump to go down below I have to cut a road down so I can get back up. We run really narrow tracks on ours though, we deal with alot of rock.

I see mega overkill here. I was just talking about Zombie's not a nuclear war machine. Maybe I should have spelled out, Squarebody Conversion ideas.

Still some cool vehicles, but no, I don't think I"ll be having access to about 5.8 Million dollars to acquire some of these vehicles here.

Which ones are $5.8 million? That is what I found interesting with the ones I posted, they are relatively cheap if you can arrange the importation and the ATF regulations. I'd still like to get a BDRM2 and paint it up like the General Lee lol. Which reminds me of something I saw the other day. It was a cannon replica, I forget what caliber cannon it was supposed to mimic but I think it was WWII, and they put a functional .50 caliber barrel and breach load block action on it. According to the ATF it is classified as a single shot rifle. Blew my mind. Found the link, about 1/2 way down the page here... http://www.cannonsuperstore.com/wwtwo.htm

As for square zombie killing machine, I think mine isn't far from that classification lol. I just got interested in tanks lately when the administration said no one needs one sitting in their driveway. Whether you need one or not the 2nd Amendment protects the right to own one if you want it.
