Need to look at that. Not sure if I'm going this route yet, but even if I went behind the tail light, I was planning on doing both sides. Was hoping I could put Tee's in and have the fill/vents connect that way.

Speaking of vent, there isn't a vent tube next to the fill tube on the tank. Should the vent line hook up to the sender? I notice 4 lines on the sender. I speculated the extra 2 are vent to canister and other to fuel fill vent. Is this correct? Was going to do the research a bit later but since it came up....

Check my thoughts. Looking from underneath, there is a hole that goes up to the tail light. Currently the wiring goes through it. I think I can reroute the wiring and utilize that hole for a fuel fill. So the fill neck would need to go straight down (behind the tail light), make a 90° turn towards the center of the bed, and another 90° turn to the tank. There is a "U" channel of sorts (facing down), that has all the wiring in it, that will need the center cut so the fuel fill line can go through.

Thoughts? If that will work, then I can put a fill behind both tail lights and fill (the same tank) from either side. Below are pics.

Down this hole:

See the wire loom....make a hard left at center of the truck. Would need to cut a bit to let it through. The fuel fill tube on the tank will be above the black cross member just to the left. Lol.....if it's in the way at all.....whack a mole!

[edit] easier way to describe it. Pretend the wire loom is the fuel fill line. Throw a T in it going left to the tank.

Yep, here's a thread that has taken the hit from PB new TOS. @Old77 ?!?!? Will be able to take care of this thread? When and if you do, you can go ahead and delete this post too. We'd like to keep to keep this one and the others as seamless and flawless as possible so this type of conversation doesn't need to be included either.

Yeh I think he had the fill line turned toward the tire, not the back. I'd like to use that hole so I don't have to cut/weld on the bed.

I thought of that while under it, did you run into the fender well at all?

Got the first post fixed up. Not exactly like it was originally but should be good for informational purposes and at least restore it's usefulness. Still want to get the filler neck put behind the taillight here one of these days.
