The OCD kicked in today. Had to clean it up a bit, and test fit everything. Run into a little problem, have to find a 90 deg bulb socket, or cut the hinge out and mount it higher on the body.

Made a little cover piece for the tube that comes threw the bed corner. A few tack welds, and than seam sealer, just in case I ever need to remove it.

I'll be doing mine like this, but exiting on the driver side. I also have one of those spring-loaded flip-down license plate brackets like the old Pontiac Gran Prix's used but I'm not sure if the tank can be clocked with the filler neck facing the rear bumper or not. I think the 25 gallon tank is square like that but I think the rear bottom section is beveled and it wouldn't look right on one side or the other. You must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attach
No
The tank is flat and full hieghth facing the front and tapers up on the back side. I was gonna do flip down plate fill but the tank sits to high. I actually put a sump on my tank on the tapered part to feed from the bottom instead of from the top. Pics are in my thread. I have a spare K5 tank the one rear bracket is bitched up but is fixable.I'll be doing mine like this, but exiting on the driver side. I painted mine, and even panted the bottom half with a can of spray-on bedliner.got the tank fitted in place. Question is do I paint the tank or not? I need to pull it back out to add anti-squeak anyway, so I could paint it and let it sit overnight.
The rest of the afternoon is going to be running the hard line to the engine bay, mounting the filter, and trimming off that section that sticks out on the cross member and pushes into the tank. I'll slap up a pic or 2 shortly.
