Put a better tailgate on her today, i found out that 76' tailgate hanger arms are just a hair shorter than 79'.

Found out that my spare is a different size than my main tires. (Spare:31x10.5-15)(Main:32x11.5-15) Im glad i saw this befor i put it on and tore up my diff.

Found out that my spare is a different size than my main tires. (Spare:31x10.5-15)(Main:32x11.5-15) Im glad i saw this befor i put it on and tore up my diff.

Your spare is the OEM tire size that came on your truck from the factory. As long as you're not running Lockers or Limited Slip diffs, then you're OK to use an off size tire. If you have part time hubs up front you're ok too. So even if you do have lockers front and rear and get a flat in the rear, swap a front tire to the rear, then put the off size spare on the front and be sure to keep at least that hub FREE and unlocked, and even better to leave both unlocked if not in a situation where you have to have that 1 front wheel drive.

yea, i just didnt have any other news about it today, so i figured i had to post something.

Midland cb with channel button on the mic. And 2 4ft black fibreglass antennas.

Cool glad to read some people still use CBs. I have an older Cobra with the SWR calibration, and a 4' Firestick on my driver's mirror.

I've got some old CB in the crew cab with a crappy magnetic antenna on the roof. It's mostly just for communicating with buddies I'm traveling with, or my wife in the Burb. But I still haven't put a CB in the Burb :crazy:
