tilt column 1977 Cheyanne schematic

It looks like I have a bad wire in my steering column. My left blinkers do not work unless I move the steering wheel up and down until "just the right spot" and they come on. I'm thinking about breaking down the column but would like to see a diagram or schematic before I do.
Also, related or not???:
Reverse light fuse keeps blowing every couple of days. Because of the "tilt" action? I not sure where the wiring for this goes.

Bad turn signal switch. They can be had new and not terrible to replace.

I doubt the reverse light fuse is related though the switch is on the column if you have an auto trans. What are you doing when it blows? Is it in reverse? Are the headlights on at the time? If I remember right, the reverse lamp fuse also goes to the front turn signals and parking lamps.
