Its not i dont have a shop. I do. But its easily over 100 with air from fans at night. With a very very large amount of bugs. It doesnt cool down. Ever. Winter I can use heat.

But Im not single, i just turned 22 on thursday, and its 50 hours i work in 100+ degree environment where I walk 8+ miles a day, so wore out cardio. and im a morning person, so that shift really eats me.

Home projects, yes, but expectations to catch up on years of neglected work, maintenance, etc while ive been trying to clear up skin infections and all the such.

8 miles per day? Sounds like someone works in an Amazon warehouse. I don't mind people venting if they have a hard day/time. But most of our lives have their times of difficulty. It's easier to follow posts and reply when it's limited to technical questions and answers

I don't know if it's helpful but this photo shows what I am calling the inner, outer race for my square body (inner=closest to axle tube, outer race=bearing OD). It's the metal ring centered in the seal.

The tapered roller bearings (2nd photo) need to fit into a smooth outer race. If you installed it without an outer race there is going to be a ton of play. The last two photos show a new bearing/race, and a worn bearing/race. If the race looks like the last photo, replace everything.

Its what im fearing, i bought a new AC delco hub but i had no idea about the outer races. i mean, it makes sense now.... didnt click, but i just had no reason to doubt my knowledge lol. i was applying what i was taught, unfortunately incorrectly taught. i will check the old races for wear and i suppose next time hub is off see if new one has them.
on my ford... ill prob just do new bearings for sure. i have the old hubs, rusting someplace in a barrel. i could check

i do quality assurance for food processing, the area i do it in is not refrigerated and is full of guts, heat, etc. and i have a LOT of loops around each day

^As long as you realize neither are drive-able if your suspicion is true. That said, I just looked up a couple hubs for sale, randomly, and one came with bearing races pre-installed, although I'm certain that is not always the case. So maybe you got lucky or maybe not.
