I bought this at the pawn shop the other day.
I have wanted a meter that would tell me DC amperage as well as AC for a while now.
It presented itself on Saturday.
For some reason it would not read voltage with the leads, but the non contact voltage worked like a champ.
So I took the chance on it for the $45 they wanted.

Fiddling with it this afternoon, I found the black lead to be broken right after the plug and again at the tip.
I took the leads off another meter and did the tests on the black lead with it.
That is why you can see the ends of the leads pulled off in the photo.

I have ordered a new set and we should be up and running soon.

I got one of these. I got it from FB. (Yes I'm one of those guys). Anyways one of my work buddies told me about it. Thought it would come in handy. Bought a 20.00 dollar HF grinder. Had to give it a test run... it cleaned up the axle tube in about 2-3 minutes.

I've been staring at those belt sander attachments on Amazon forever. Do you know what brand you have? Are replacement belts readily available? There are so many cheap versions I'm afraid of getting one that I can't get replacement belts for.

I don't remember what the brand is...sorry. I'm sure you can get belts from Benchmark or someone like that. It came with 5 belts different courses.

I don't judge anyone for FB. There are honest peeps out there. If you feel they are right through conversation, go for it. Higher distance away tends to prove caution needs to be addressed.

Nothing wrong with that! Don't let negative people keep you from getting a deal. Got many great deals on Facebook if that's what I think it means.

Either way good for you!

I wouldn't let availability of replacement belts slow me down. Look how simple that is,by redrilling one hole for one of the rollers you could change needed belt diameter, same by shortening or lengthening the adjuster bracket. Make it fit belts available local to you.

The one posted above, I'd spitball they are 1.5x30" belts, which may or may not be a local item, but certainly available from your favorite industrial supplier.

Sanding belts can be made to pretty much any dimensions, I have a box of 5x173" belts and at work there was some communication errors and what was supposed to be 1/2x12.0" belts got ordered as 12x120," so if anyone has a treadmill sized sander out there I may just have what you need, good belts too, 3M Cubitron 3.

On the subject of blow guns, my Menards has these, bought one a couple weeks ago for the shop and have been pleased, bought another for work. The needle tips work nicely for blowing chips out of bores and such.

Do a lot of small hole work, say 1/4 to 5/16 and smaller boring, threading etc. Chip evacuation can be a real struggle and even with a regular blow gun on say 4-40 threads trying to get it clean and clear is a pain. For the price I am very pleased.

I went back and found out who makes it. It is called Sakerplus...it was 76.00 shipped. You can get replacement belts for it from Benchmark Abrasive. 1.5 x 30. They run about 3.00 each. Hope that helps. I will say it seems to be very well made.
