Stock heads, 243’s, have not gotten a cam…..yet. I had a 1998 Z28 with a LS1 small cam, and it would get you in trouble fast. It had a 4l60e pos that blew up twice. This is a jump in and go anywhere car, so reliability and easy service are important. 4:11 gears will still let me cruse, run at the salt flats, and with a 2.64 first gear, should be responsive. Should have the money to complete it this month, so will be hitting it hard. I am hiring a friend who is the head man at the shop I used to work. He is a drag racer and a Mopar lover, has a stroked 440, dyno 668 hp. He is a good hand and real fun to work with. Stock wiring harness W/ 896 ecu.
