Removed the wire i had on temporarily to keep the throttle cable from slipping off and replaced it with the correct clip. Google said auto zone had them but it lied. Had to get them from Amazon.

You wouldn't happen to have a link to those clips would you?
I tried entering the numbers on your package, but that didn't work.

@JamesSam I wouldn’t fret over Torx vs allen head. I’d use either. If you have to saw off for correct length, you could thread a nut on there before you cut it off, and then when you unthread the nut off the end, it’ll help clean up the threads if they need cleaning up.

Mine is still up on stands, waiting for the converter to come back. Apparently the guy before me had a converter in for a 200R4? Anyhow, that’s all I was told. Spent some time underneath cleaning up and trying to find an oil leak. I think I have a couple things going on, the oil sender is probably leaking a little bit as well as the oil pan gasket around the main cap at the end. I thought initially it was the rear main seal, but it looks dry around the flywheel. Oh well, I’ll figure that out later. I got out the brake cleaner and cleaned everything up. Have some ARP bolts for the bellhousing when it goes back in.

I thought this was humorous. I didn't panic (mostly). For those who have a garage or shop NOT full of stuff. Pics are in order of, 1) final result 2) Issue, you see it? 3) plan 4) Yay! Had to giggle internet to figure out how to remove drawer. Two screws, sh!t in the way...drill with 90° attatchment, boom.

I finally worked up the nerve to cut my original doors. I really like my tube doors but I'm liking this look more.

Your post reminded me of the car show last Saturday. I had my 75 Blazer entered (top removed) and 3 different people asked me if it was hard cutting the top off my truck.:superhack:

Probably keep more of the mud off you, and assume you can still roll up a window even. Keep ya from getting your hair messy. Looks good!

Yeah, the plan is for the windows to work however, at the moment, they don't. I'm waiting on some belt moldings and small parts from LMC. I also need to spend some time fab'ing a bracket to go inside the door for the rear caps to screw to and I'll attach the rear window channel to that.

I may cheat on the plugs that go at the top of the door frame above the vent windows. I searched around and it looks like the plugs will cost about $100, I've got some used ones but now that I've tried to install them I can see they're wiped out. I don't ever plan to have a hard or soft top so I may just weld some caps on the top holes.

I looked at our truck and am not sure what the hole's look like, but you can get various sizes of aluminum plug buttons at the hardware store. Put some pooky around it if you need to keep water out. But for you, welding may be better choice.
