I’m too fckin cheap. Hahaha Although it’s getting hard to find a place that will sell a diy’er torsion springs.I know it can safely be done but there are certain things that have a danger factor that I just don't mess with. Could I do it? Sure. Do I really want to/is it worth the risk? Nope. I have a buddy from HS that works for a garage door company, he can do it lol
One kickass hardware store sells them. Limited availability. Found one once there that worked. Last time, called around and a local garage door guy agreed to sell me one. I had all the specs and he argued that I needed LH wind vs RH or vice versa. He gave me the wrong one first. Was a pain in the ….
