I had to create collages with those photos to get them to load on here. They were sent to me from an I Phone and I have an Android. Apologies for the quality, I wish I could put the pictures directly in.

I get the idea. Either way, that TBI looks much better!

Lightly sanded the hood epoxy primer, thin layer of filler, then sanded that mostly smooth. While I was waiting for the filler to harden, I removed some of the heater distribution vents to determine what’s missing and needs repair. The box itself is a little loose so gonna have to tighten the blind nuts on the firewall, missing the left vent tube, missing seals, and looks like PO trimmed a little too much on one vent, and used 200 mph tape rather than repair it properly. Probably gonna take an hour or two to make it right.

Painted my mirror covers and some stake pocket covers from Truxedo. Spray can basecoat from AutomotiveTouchup.com, and SprayMax 2K clear from Amazon. Also cleaned up and clear coated my unobtainium 1983 GMC grill.

Battery was starting to struggle a bit and tester said it was at 60% CCA rating so got a new battery from Summit and dropped it in. I had an Odyssey battery in my 87 square and had the recommended battery tender for it so got another one. The old battery will be used in the horse trailer until it completely dies.

Also got some new, clean floor mats!

I’ve always wanted a set of the GM floor mats. They take me back to my youth, but the cost of entry always made be balk.

I’ll end up with a set eventually.

Cut off 3/4" off the 1/4-20 all thread because it was too long and got rid of all the washers except for one on the air filter lid. Also turned it so the grooves are vertical. ;)
