Got the spread bore spacer in today. I'll get it on Saturday because we're going to see the documentary of led zeppelin in imax tomorrow night. Should be cool.

I added a test port valve (Actron brand) just after the fuel filter, in between the filter and the flex line. The flex line allows it to stay in place without any modifications. I put a cap on it to keep it clean and just left it in place. That way it is always there to use if I need to check the fuel pressure.
That’s what I was suggesting to @JamesSam. Seems like he’s going to hang on to the truck, so it’s worth it imo, especially since he has fuel issues and is sort of addressing them 1 thing at a time.

Walked past it a couple times and stared at it, then ordered a Walbro fuel pump. JEGS first e mail said my GM TBI adaptor has shipped and arrival would be today, I thought to myself: "That's f***** fast!", then I clicked the track package icon and Fed Ex doesn't even have it yet. Rain all day tomorrow, luckily my son has a basketball game going on, cloudy all day Sunday, and Monday night rain, then Tuesday rain in to snow. Wednesday, Thursday: rain. So waiting on parts and weather to test fuel pressure and swap tanks. I need to get the fuel hose, straps, anti squeak, and brackets ordered. I only want to order new because I think trying to refurbish my existing "Bracketryyy" will take too long.

@TotalyHucked Zach, do you recommend AMD brackets, straps, and anti squeak kits? I want to support our passion through the community. It looks like AMD has all the remaining peices to my puzzle. Give me some insight.

Checked my rubber dash fitment. Fits okay but will need a little bit of trimming.

Kinda forgot about the PO heater mess but rediscovered while fitting the dash. What should this look like without the 200 mph tape?

back when I had the saddle tanks, I used thin silver bubble wrap (insulation) for tank anti-squeak. You can also use bicycle rubber and roofing tar paper as well.

Just a thought.

[edit] quoted wrong post....anyway.

When I had saddle tanks I used the silver bubble wrap (insulation) for anti-squeak. You can also use large bicycle tubes or roofing tar paper.

Just a thought.

Ordered. Rain for days through the weekend in to next week then possibly snow. Hopefully when it arrives it will be good truck resto weather. Damn Punksatawny Phil.
My wife and I just watched Groundhog Day with our kids for the first time tonight. Such an awesome movie. I think I saw it with my Mom and Dad at least 3 times in the theater when it came out.
