Good looks Lee, I won't use tar paper. Most likely I will buy an anti squeak kit.
I don't want to sell my tools! Lol.

The LMC kit is just roofing/tar paper. Fuel tank shouldn't be getting crazy hot to begin with.

Tar paper sounds like it will burn if it gets hot. Good luck

Well it’ll be pinched against the gas tank so if something is hot enough to burn there, the 1/4” of tar paper peeking out from under the straps is the least of my worries. And the original stuff was basically tar paper

Hmm. I could be wrong, but there probably isn’t a lot of torque converter custom guys, could be the same one.

I’ve heard PTC mentioned in a good way by my buddy here who is a 3rd Gen local coming from a long line of Auburn WA resident hot rodders. Fwiw
