So answered my own question with google I think. There is NOT a Schrader valve on the TBI system for fuel pressure testing. Is this correct?
Also since it’s low pressure, cobbling in a tee is pretty safe.
Although long term and considering you’re unsure of and fiddling with both tanks and pumps it may make sense to just splice in a tee with a Schrader valve on it for a more permanent setup to easily check fuel pressure and disconnect the gauge easily with no leak concerns.
If there is, I haven't found it yet!

There are aftermarket, adjustable fuel pressure regulators that require an external gauge getting plumbed in. I had no need to do this to mine as it is completely stock except for the exhaust and I figured the stock regulator spring would be fine.

This is a random internet pic, NOT my truck.

AZ sucks I try to stay away from there. I went there looking for a wheel cylinder the other day and they wanted me to pay before they order it lol. Not sure I would trust any parts there honestly. That starter your friend has probably has a lifetime warranty but that's how they are. Stock parts are much better. Really sucks having to change the starter in some parking lot also and always at the worst time lol

Yes I was thinking I would be able to hook up one like I saw in a video. The guy used an OTC kit that had a specific Schrader T style valve specific for GM TBI as it listed on the OTC kit contents. I'm looking in to the Actron brand test port that @gmbellew mentioned.

The actron one that goes in front of the TB is supposed to be able to be left in place. Again rumored to be in the 38.00 Amazon action kit. Just went to the actron website. It's discontinued.

I also found a couple of GM specific adaptor valves that you hook up in line and you pop a pressure guage right on to the side. Too bad both of them are nearly $50!! They cost more than some of pressure test kits!
