What’s the plan these days?
When it warms up I am going to take a close look at both tanks, check their ground wires, make sure they are actually attached at the frame, check the grounds in the engine bay if I can find them, and pressure test the fuel. The results may determine what I do next. I am fairly certain this has something to do with the pumps in the tank and possibly the tanks themselves. I also am somewhat intimidated by the electronics with the TBI, especially after putting on a new IACV, TPS, and trying to trouble shoot with the OBD1. I am likely going to have a garage help diagnose, see what cost may be. I will likely be dropping the tanks and swapping out with new and new sending unit assembley's, and hoses, vent hoses, filler neck etc. Probably one at a time or maybe I will do one and the garage can do one, not sure yet. When I'm not working I am busy with the kids so finding time is the biggest problem for self service. I also wish I had a garage. I looked in to getting a pop up from somewhere but the cheapest ones are a little too much for me to justify doing it all myself. I'll be spending lots if I do this or if I hire someone so we'll see. I really want to look at the truck with someone that really knows their stuff with TBI. I am going to attempt to have a good convo with the mechanic that has worked on this truck the most but he is busy, busy. I will be posting any news on the situation.

Overall, the numbers on the Edelbrock (as I’ve learned and watched the AFR) aren’t awful, needs to be fatter on part throttle and leaner at WOT. I switched to a .104 jet and a .073/.037 metering rod, and went from a .098 secondary jet to a .095. Inching in the right direction, but I’ll need to go to a skinnier metering rod yet again, and will probably order a .092 secondary jet. Already on the most aggressive accelerator pump setting and on the silver (most aggressive) step up springs.

That's all voodoo to me lol. Wish I would've paid more attention when I was younger when my dad was showing me about carbs. Need to get him to teach me now before he's gone

I noticed the other night that my LH headlight was failing, so went ahead and replaced both headlights. While I was at it cleaned and painted the battery tray and hardware. Simple job but worth it.

Lol, no. You know how on a calculator, an '8' could represent the letter 'B'?
Oh Jeez, too funny. When my daughter saw the Blazer she said something to the effect “Leave it to dad to get a plate that is pronounced Booby”.

Got the welds mostly ground down so a thin coat of body filler will make it look like it should. Shot some self etching primer on it so it won't start to rust. Started cleaning up the driver side in side fender. Had to weld in a couple of square nuts for mounting to the core support. Also found a dent on the face of the fender. Finally got to use a tool I've had for a few years, just haven't had the opportunity to use it. Never used a stud gun before, there is a learning curve...lol
Definitely- pop one out tin can pops in - nicely done

Laid down a coat of primer/ will start fine tuning the jam to look straight- no one is going to look but me so it matters, found a few spots that the primer make stand out like a sore thumb
