could i get a pic of the other side of your engine just like this one but other side.....im trying to put my truck somewhat back together....
Lemme see if I can find one in the archives, not sure how many engine bay pictures I took before I tore it all out

That's odd yours sits so far down/is a shorter rad than my '85 originally had. Wonder if the "HD Cooling" is the difference?

Yeah, mine was originally a 250 I6 truck, likely had the shorter radiator.

How'd you get it mounted to core support? It looks too short to use stock top mounts. That's the only problem I've seen with the aftermarket aluminum radiator. I'm having my old one repaired to see if that will work. Looks good tho.

It lines up nicely, actually. I measured the width and height to match my stock dimensions.

From what I have seen a lot of the factory non-air and manual trucks got a shorter radiator. My '86 is factory air with a A833 4-speed had the shorter radiator. The upper radiator brackets are L-shaped and the fan shroud is also different.

These are the brackets for the shorter radiator.
Mine are different on the 82. That's why I was wondering. That'll work.
Mine bolt on top and go straight over the top of the shroud to hold it on.

Guy just called and my radiator is fixed. I'll be picking it up after work for 65 bucks. Seem on the side tank at bottom cracked. I'm super happy now I don't have to buy a new one.

When I replaced my shocks. I found some odd sized bolts. I went back and replaced them with what I think is the correct size 1/2" by 3" cap screw. The pass side lower front was so long it touched the axel tube. I had to add a spacer and a bunch of washers. I didn't like the look of a hack job. The driver side lower rear was 5/8". It wouldn't allow the metal insert to be installed in the shock rubber. it does now.
