Today, got back at the radiator project. I decided to try a flex hose for the lower hose since no one makes one in the stock form with a 1.75” radiator outlet. Got it all buttoned up, then the alternator wouldn’t play with the flex hose, not enough real estate. Since I have old camelhump heads, there is no accessory holes, so the aftermarket setup mounts the alternator low on the passenger side.
So, now I’m going to try a 1.5” to 1.75” adapter from the jungle website and get another stock lower hose.
But the Cold Case looks nice with the polished tanks peeking out from under the fan shroud.
While I was at it, I painted up a high flow water pump I got from
@Geoduck and it looks better than the one left raw/rusty that was installed when I bought it. I also had reconfigured the temp sensor back to the intake manifold instead of the gooseneck.
