I did do it other than remove it what seems like a long time ago. I sent my steering wheel off to get rebuilt. One of the best purchases so far in this rebuild.

Simple repurpose.
Got around to a little detailing. All chrome door bits are badly pitted. In the process of dealing w/ that it needed new plastic behind the window cranks. Folgers coffee plastic tops for the N/C win.

Getting there with this Benz van tire carrier setup. Have the U-bolts in place to be welded. Spare tire carrier will hang from these. I have small gussets to go under them as they will be under a constant pressure holding a 100 lb wheel and tire up. Overkill is the target.

My plan B was to make a plate for the entire bottom of the hitch with 2 milled-in 'tow hooks / tabs' sticking out the same way.

Brother sprayed the raptor on the cab floor today, both inside and underneath. Far cry from what this floor was. Amazing. . .

Just put new tires on the camaro. Got a pretty good deal at discount tires. I have only bought tires from them for years now. When they replace them with a new one for 19 bucks it's hard to beat that. I went in to get 2 front tires for the trip to califukya because they needed to be replaced. Back weren't too bad.

It was gonna be 420 for the 2 front. I told him I would come back for the 2 back tires later. He said if I bought 3 he'd give me the 4th free. Came out to 615 for all for put on. Glad I did it because it drove great on 4 new tires for sure.
