Been driving mine a lot more this year than usual. Noticed it pulling to the left, and a weird smell when I got to work several weeks ago. Wheel and hubcap were super hot. Pretty sure the front ds brake is dragging. Or a bearing is going out. Can't do much about it right now besides research possible upgrades, due to having bicep tendon re-attachment surgery.

I bet that the brake hose has collapsed internally. I'd replace both sides when the time comes. Good luck

Got a new water pump coming to Napa tomorrow. Flushed out the radiator and block. Ready to slap that bitch on tomorrow and fit the new shroud.

That is another very real possibility I thought of also, good call. I am looking at braided stainless lines now. The ones on it are factory original. I am definitely going to do new lines, and just check the condition of everything else. Wildwood has their D52 caliper kit that looks intriguing. But that is $453 that I would rather drop into my Monte right now.

You don't need all that. New standard brake hoses. The original ones lasted 40 years. ( High quality standard hoses)

Finally got a break in the weather where it wasn't raining and was also warm enough for the epoxy primer. I hope to get some filler on it and epoxy it again before the weather really turns to crap.
