Decided I could not let this "opportunity" pass and drove Goldie around the block.

If surface streets are this sketchy, whoo doggy.

Hell, I spun a little coming up the driveway.

Tires do pretty well, and braking sucks in icy conditions anyway.

People around here still can't get the hang of it. On the way home today, I had to slow down to 25mph because of a couple 4x4 trucks and a Jeep. I had been doing 55+.

If you close the window less snow will get into the truck.

A jeep at 55 is unsafe in good weather. ;)

No matter what it snows in the truck since there is no weatherstripping left in the window track, also the quarter windows don't seal very well.

With the fine sort of dusty snow we were having today, it just flows in through those gaps.

Lol, me too. The LR door of my Burb really needs the window run channel replaced. I've gotten used to the cold draft on the back, but the blowing powdery snow was making it all the way up to the dash yesterday.

Oh that sucks!!!!!! I just replaced the one in my car, I think it needs a rad and heater core flush....doesn't blow hot air, warm at best.

Lately it's been around -25 to -30 so it really sucks! Well, it is a ford taurus and that's half the problem!!! My Impalas we used to have would cook ya!!

Get that baby fixed up! No fun driving around like that..

Close! They are 35's and they were found in a ditch. 100% true and I cannot deny that. But they are 90-95% tread and they have been siped as well.

I've found/used plenty of tires in ditches.

Aint done a thing to my truck in a few weeks. Its been too cold, heater in my shop cant overcome the below freezing temps. so I just stare out the window and make mental lists of what I need to do after the cold spell snaps.....
