Tried some electrical contact cleaner to see if it would fix the "always on squirters issue " I have had long term.

We shall see - hardest part was getting the dam wires off. No idea what holds em in, but they sure did fight.

Rough stuff.

Mine is put away for the season.....well, kind of. It is still in my shop, just pushed up against the wall now surrounded by vintage snowmobiles.

I did keep the engine in its own spot so I can wrench on that this winter.

In my case I did a beyond crazy drive from Northern AZ, to Northwestern PA, and finishing my leg into southwestern NY today. Saw quite a few squares on my trip. Decided I absolutely will never drive across Kansas again, the state felt like it would never end. Was half convinced I saw a member as I shout through Ohio in a wicked four headlight eighties square that had an awesome looking seat with headrests. Convenient bath via rain as I got closer to the northern state line... Wish I'd of taken photos. Trucks done insanely good on the drive in every regard save for it's demand of premium gas.

I got my engine in finally. Gotta weld the exhaust up cause it has a few holes(clamp on kit) and the headers leak like hell but its getting there. I had the whole engine bay apart among other things so im still moving wires around and trying to make it look good too. I have videos posted i the video section if anyone cares.

Today I removed all the door and window seals from the front doors and the cab seal on the rear doors.

I didn't realize the vent windows were going to be such a project and I didn't have the rivets required for reassembly. Everything is prepped and ready for reassembly once the rivets come in.

While I was at it, I removed the head liner panel because the foam was shedding down on me anyway. That may or may not ever get reinstalled. It's a low priority.

Physical therapist showed up for Tina’s first round so I thought I’d go put new brakes on the front. Got everything out that I’d need and started on the right side. Started loosening the lug nuts, removing 3 and leaving the other 2. Got her jacked up and jack stand in place. Removed another nut and started on the last one. 2 turns of the breaker bar and it stops. Won’t budge at all. Take the stand out and set her back on the floor. Bowing the bar, still no go. Turning back to the right it would only turn a smidgen. The stinkin thing galled up on me!! Bigger bar, no go. Bigger bar with big freaking pipe and finally started to turn. By the time it was off the nut was hot...and so was the lug nut.:confused:

Went to the local speed shop hoping he would have one. Nope, a set will be here Tuesday. With Tina down for a bit, at least I’ll have her ride to get to work. As Roger Murtaugh said, and is right BTW, I’m getting too old for this ****!!

Maybe an optical illusion, but it looks like the nut had been over torqued, to the point of stretching the stud there in the middle.
They all broke loose about the same. Bet it was stretching coming off tho. Off and on many times and only losing 1 besides this one ain’t bad in 19 yrs I reckon.

The positive cable and negative cables are a little... custom.. made do with what i had. My positive cable is 2 cables lugged together.

Not ideal

also missing my marine terminals with wing nuts and huge ass battery sideways in the tray with bungie cords holding it in

Got the skip white distributor in today. Tomorrow will be hooking up plug wires and regapping the plugs to .045. They were a .033. Didn't check gap last time. :oops:

It's finally cool here in Texas and low humidity makes it much more enjoyable to work on it too. Not having to constantly wipe sweat off your face. Wearing glasses makes it even worse.
