Cabinet boxz behind seat or 6x9z at cab corners? Is there room under dash cover for 6x9z? I like the kickpanel idea, I play in snow, and thot of muddy ,wet boots basically scraping them everytime in & out, will have reduced longevity of $$$.$$ invested in headbanging noise pollution I plan on testing the limits at every opportunity when more volume is called upon. I came across these on bozo' site, I have baffles in my car inside of scosche sealed boxz. Bass sound is heavy n crisp n quite therapeutic feeling the percussion of HOT FOR TEACHER intro. ...Any other locations like frontside of seat, not cutting doors. What do you use n where? Sound quality??? https://www.amazon.com/s?k=6x9+spea...ear+cab+corners,automotive,373&ref=nb_sb_noss

LS fabrication for kick panel speakers, I once made a set of boxes for 6x9 to fit in the corners, that said that same company sells speaker mounts

The panels that fit in the corners work like garbage. First make sure your belt retractors aren't bolted to the area. If they're low at the sides of the seats then you'll be good. My '77 had the retractors higher up and I had to custom make mine. They were good for a while until the bass started thumping with a small amp on them and could hear the rattling of the sheet metal. So either invest in some dynamat type sound absorbing/deadening material or go with a 6x9 box to go behind the seats.

Toss in either a wedge style box behind the seat with an amp to push them or an amplified bass tube like the SAS Bazooka tubes. Kind of wish I never got rid of my old Kenwood 300w amp and MTX Road Thunder II wedges now.

There are kits that'll allow you to put speakers into the kick panels so you don't have to cut holes in the doors. Speaker pods can get pricey. Look for some local kid that 3D prints crap and he might be able to make something cheap and clean enough for you. Talk them into making them for you for free and then you can testify to how good they are when they go into business selling them.

Tweeters up high by the visors, mids in the dash corners, 6x9's behind the seats and a wedge box with some decent 10" subs and a good amp with decent rms wattage with a good head unit like Kenwood etc will have you sounding proper.
