DAMN!!! That grill really jumps at ya! I like that! Mine is factory with the black inside bezels. Im trying to swamp my nose to the inset 73 style grille thought. Good lookin big ten you had! :waytogo: im a very big fan of your stepper as i grew up around my dads 73 c10 stepper. Thats where my square affair began.

I love these, I've had I dunno 9 square bodys and 7 were stepsides. I finally found the perfect one and I am hanging on to it!

The other day, working on the truck in the driveway, I worked up a bit of a glow. I wondered how warm it was so I grabbed the temp gun thing.

And that was after the driveway was in the shade for 4 hours.

It hit 115 yesterday...so far the hottest day of the year. Hell at 830 am this morning it was over 100 degress already and windy to boot.

I need to get motivated since my front disc brake conversion parts all came in this afternoon for my 64 c10.

It was 100° on Wednesday here In KY with 90% humidity, you could see the air. It was miserable. On another note I have a set of the Off road design rear disc brake brackets I need to put on so I can do the conversion on my 14 bolt.

Sanded and primed my hood today. It should be interesting as I fix the body. I've never really done it before. At least it can't look any worse! :)

115 is hot....but the humidity is hovering around 15 percent. I used to live in Pennsylvania . I certainly don't miss the humidity at all!

Can you say SWAMPASS ???

Put my rearview back on this morning and new wiper arms. Wanted to have the style with the stud instead of the slide on kind.

Found out the 4wd indicator switch is bad.

Good and bad - I know what the problem is, but finding one for less 120 bux is the issue ...

Hopefully chengy will share his knowledge of how he rebuilt his.

After 8 years I finally fixed the previous owners wiring mess. He must have fried the fusible links at the starter.
Thhn wire, wire nuts, two inline fuses and a inline circuit breaker.

I picked up the right fusible links but there wasn't enough wire to run to the starter, but I'm good with that

Not the square, but the father of the square progress...

After waiting what seemed forever on the parts to arrive...I finally have power assisted disc brakes on the 64 c10 !

Long gone are the days of stopping...or trying to stop with the old manual front drum brakes. I may also swap the current rear drum brakes to disc as well. For now with the inline 6 cyl they will remain. After the motor swap (I haven't decided on what yet)....the upgrade may be nice.

Since I did the disc brake conversion. ...I also replaced all the ball joints, tie rods and adjustment sleeves.
