I need a brake shoe diagram or video, couldnt take a picture of old set up because it was screwed, 1980 k10, idk If it's the same across all years but I cant find anything explaining it and the Haynes and Chilton books suck ass, at this point I dont even know if I have the right hardware kit, need help asap

I got it, took forever, took 6 different videos and finding different diagrams, hopefully wont need to do this again, I'd rather disk brake swap it next time

Put a new distributor in my 76 this morning. Was having issues with hard acceleration it would stumble and start bucking. First the mechanical advance was sticking, put a curve kit in it after freeing it up, ran better than it ever had. Drove it, let it sit and it started stumbling again. Got tired of messing with it so put the one for my 79 in it. So far so good. Runs like it has more than 150 horsepower.

Got the 81 running fully. Needs a clutch, bearing and fork and the interior more or less replaced then its gonna be working hard.

Well it (sort of) runs finally! Lol not sure what the clack clack sound is hopefully nothing major. Now I can get it back together and on the road! :cheers:

That's the same latch mine has.
There was a guy on here asking about a replacement latch but i cant find the thread. I got 2 of them from the junk yard today and thought maybe hed want it..
