Just finished up installing a little modern luxury (bluetooth CD player), almost half assed it and just ran it to constant hot only (like we used to do back in the day) but remembered I had a little power source splitter to hook up to the fuse box. I wedged a couple of JBL 6x9 speakers in boxes in the rear corners of the cab, its a good start.
Later today plan on getting the timing gun back out for a little adjustment and taking a trip to discount tire for a little wheel balancing.

Tack welded up the new fenderwells this afternoon. Now I just need to build mounting brackets and secure them. I kept the templates in case I need to make another set.

I still need to make the access panel for the battery, but who knows, maybe I will leave it as is to conceal it?.....thoughts...??

Built in work benches. Lay down a mat and have a nice flat surface to lay tools. The rad support only holds so many.

Or...I could magnetize the fenderwells and never lose those 5/16" sockets or grill mounting screws ever again !!

Thanks....still not sure if I should fabricate an access door for the battery.

I guess it would all depend on how easy it is to get the fender wells out. Batteries are just ugly. Out of sight is better. And having a door would take away the fluidity of them.

Was thinking the same thing but a magnet tray works too.
