I had my TB's windshield replaced about 3 years ago. Local guy that some other dudes recommended, $230 installed in my driveway. The reveal molding needed to be replaced on it since the old one gets destroyed in the removal. He quoted about the same for Ellie May (my square) since it will probably need a new gasket.

That's about right. I had mine done at $125 and was told if it needed a gasket, it would be $75 to $100 more. He hadn't priced it yet for sure. I didn't need it thankfully.

Well I found rear sport bumper from an 88 K5 with a MINT pair of horizontal impact strips! It even has a nice GM hitch and Pollak trailer wiring adapter! This will look good on my 86 K10 with NOS guards and impact cushions!

@CRM, who did you get the window seals from? It's something I'd like to do but have read a few posts about the replacement stuff not lasting very long so I'm a little gun shy on starting the project.

LMC was the only place I could find them. The rubber that goes around the vent glass was only $4.95 a pair.

ClassicParts has them, and is generally considered one of the better replacements. I had them on my 84' for 4 years in the Texas sun and heat, and they were still in great shape when I sold it. I've heard not-so-good things about the LMC seals though.

Yeah, I'm wanting to do new everything on my roll-ups and vents. I'm in a burb so I get to do 4 doors. Lucky me.

Edit: Thanks Foamy, I'll check CP out.

Finally replaced my tired and worn out S-L-o-w operating passenger side power window motor.......what a PITA !

It was definately in need of replacement...turns out it was the oem unit from 1984. Hopefully I wont won't need to swap the new motor out soon, but then again it did come with a lifetime warranty.
