Should have drilled your holes first, makes it easier on the body work because it might crack the bondo when you drill it then you have to fill the holes

Just began my adventure

My father handed down his 85 K5 to me a few weeks ago. I have always wanted that truck. As soon as I got it I replaced all spark plugs, oil, airfilters, etc. I ripped out the carpet and put bed liner down( easier to spray out blood from hunting and mud). Next is a set of shorty headers and cut the cat and a small body lift.

Pulled out my sagging head liner. Put it away in a safe spot to deal with later. Its SO NICE not having that stupid liner combing my hair for me every time I moved my head LOL But seriously I think I have developed a bent neck posture while driving, from that stupid liner always rubbing my head LOL

Its in pretty good shape so Im gonna redo it one of these days. The corners are coming apart in ply's but I should be able to glue them back together

Broke the stupid interior light cover LOL Damn those things get brittle from the heat from the light. This would be a good location to swap in an LED bulb for sure!

Ya that was a sweet find! Im very jealous! Im still looking for a good box. I should just find out how much it would cost to get a bed shipped up here and then get one from one of you guys or something. The only thing is I would really worry about it getting damaged during shipping!

I wouldn't count on it being anytime soon LOL but it almost seems inevitable that if I want to find a nice mint bed, that they are all well South of me LOL

Well I am 4 hours south of Cleveland Ohio. My bed came out of Georgia originally. There are 3 or 4 places selling beds North of me. All of them are a little over 2 hours North of me.

Too much timing plus crap ethanol gas :/

Got it re-timed last night to 6*, tune up spec is 4*. Was running 11* before. With 11* it felt like it had more power, but obviously was either on the verge of detonation or was detonating.
