Nothing until I get a new engine. Getting one without all the emissions crap. Saving.

That pretty much limits your driving though doesn't it?

Technically there is a mileage/year limit on it but in talking with my cousin who has Missouri historical tags on his '49 Ford that limit is never checked upon and he said to not even worry about that.

Look for a "small parts kit" on ebay?
I messaged a seller in there, never got a response back as to wether them washers is in there.
I finally found some, suppose to be real good used ones for five apiece, I ordered two sets, I plan on keeping this thing for a lot of years so figured I had better have some spares.
I`ll go back into ebay and message someone else or two and see if they will be able to tell Me if those washers is in there.
I did find a transfer case at the scrapeers yard, hanging on a TH350, it was a 205 I think. started cleaning off where there might suppose a tag to be and got called aff as one of the employees had drug it out there for themselves.I`m suppose to check back when I can and see if it is a haseable thing or not.
had one shift lever and the two shift shafts connected together, I`m not familiar with looking at transfer cases and recognizing what they are so I`m screwed there.
Another guy in town has one, He claims He just kitted, a 205, and wants 500 for it. fugggg, I just can not afford that, He said to stop by and Maby Mine *********`ll get Him down to affordable. LOL I`ll see.
Now though, I will continue on with the 203 rebuild and posting as I go. I have a bunch of pics. and hopefully can remember the order they comes in. :emotions33:

Yeah, advancing the timing will do that. Although, pumping the gas usually doesn't help much sicne the fuel in the float bowl is hot to by that time. Basically, it's a vapor lock of sorts. It'll usually take about 3-4 minutes for the condition to happen, then about after 20 minutes or so you're usually OK. The reason it takes 3-4 minutes to have that condition, is because it takes the fuel that long to vaporize. The worst will be when you're going into like a 7-11 to grab a coke. By the time you come out, the problem will be there.

You can retard the timing, get a stronger high torque starter, some say an electric fuel pump help which is possible I guess. I notice the problem more often with OE cast iron intakes and/or Qjet Carbs. If you have a Qjet carb, and the well plugs are leaking, they'll drip gas right at the throat of the intake and it vaporizes from the heat. An aluminum intake gets rid of the heat quicker, but making sure your well plugs aren't dripping gas or the high torque starter is probably the best remedy.

Picked Me up one of these critters.
Thought I was going to cut a fat hog in a ass, until I found out it`d cost about 600 buckaroos to get the kit to make it fit up to My TH400, it come from a TH350.:banghead::uhoh2::laughing1:

Jup !!! I have one just like it mated to a Th350 !!! However, I'm not afraid to run a Th350 with it. What I need is a Th400 Round Pattern Unit for my A833 4 speed OD transmission.

Would that be what the 79 K20, TH400, 32 spline unit be ???

No, 79 is a Race Track Pattern 32 spline. Round Pattern didn't start till like late 85 or 86.

What you have there is also a Race Track pattern, but in a 27 spline.
