Hey @eskimomann209 and @Goldie Driver, i decided id put that clock in today....tore apart the whole dash and gauges, put the clock in and got the gauges all back together, clock working. Screw in the cluster and hey clocks not workin... back out it goes. I hook mine back up and it starts working. Wtf?! So after all that i put mine back in and its working so.... also played with my int wipers and realize the delay box is bad. Then after all that i go to put tranny fluid in and accidently kick over the whole quart down the front of my truck.... ****! Off to the car wash.

on a positive note I installed these headlights. On a negative note my transmission started shifting weak, two nights ago it was shifting normal/somewhat hard from the TCI controller, now it feels like a cvt [emoji24]

Anyone have any idea why my turn signals are showing 5v when they are off and the running lights are on?

I can’t remember now but want there some weird twist thing that you gotta do to get it outta “set “ mode?
It’s probably going into that mode when you tighten up that little flat head screw

I thought you just pulled the stem out and twisted to adjust, then pushed it back in and done- ?

I wonder if the brown (IIRC ) power lead was just loose the whole time.

The tranny fluid will act as a rust preventative - get a few gallons for the rest of the truck.

Sorry ya spilt it - that, and the repair issues, sounds a lot like my luck.

Ugh.

That's the old one, right ? If so, well, you know …

:D

How hard was it to take the pad off ? Looks relatively easy - a couple of screws and pull out to release the metal tabs, but I have never done it that way.

Always fought the cluster out around it. My upper left mounting tab was already broken when I got into it, so that makes it a shade easier for me.

Plastic POS.

Oh, and that GD aftermarket stereo mounted to a plate on the bezel that you have to find and undo pry tabs to get off, PLUS short wire leads, makes it a real PITA so have not had a lot of motivation to get back in. ironically it was right around this time last year I did my circuit board IIRC.
