Changed the oil yesterday. Added some engine restore in it. Think they gave me the wrong filter (small leak). I did tell them it was an 86, but didn't tell them the engine was a 76. I'll get the numbers off the old one and get another today. [edited] We did comparisons and there is no difference. I went ahead and got the same filter I had on it before and no leak. Before = Purolator, leaky one = STP .
I also pulled the pulley off the power steering pump (LS motor for swap). Problem is I can't get the jack screw and the push button off the pump now. I can put heat to it and attempt. I'll have to grind down a wrench to get to the push button. Thoughts? I also thought maybe take a can of air and spray it with it upside down (super cold). I'm not sure how sensitive the post is on the pump to use vise grips or a vise.

update....last night I put some heat (10 seconds with map gas) with not luck. So today I wrapped it with duct tape and put vise grips on it. It took no effort to get it off....I probably could have held it with my hand and it would have backed out. I guess the heat then cooling off broke it free enough. LOL now to get the 2 parts of the kit apart.

Following de-polyizing the motor mounts, the trans mount went back to rubber today. We'll see if there's less vibration on tomorrow's commute.

It's the same bulb for the dash. I bought the 10 pack JDM ASTAR 194 bulbs from Amazon. Pack of 10. Has worked great so far.

How bright are they, and are they dimmable? I'm unsure of whether LEDs like that might be too bright at night. What do you think now that you have them in?

I have read where people painted the back side of the cover that hides the edges of the gauges with chrome paint but i left mine untouched. I rode around in it last night and didn't have a single issue. The are not dimmable but they are at the right brightness for my taste. When i went from 2 working bulbs to them all burning, there was a tremendous improvement.

Changed my fuel filter again? It plugged up over the winter! HARD starting. Hella off idle bog @ light throttle.
Installed new filter. Changed the 2 plugs on both sides of the crack in my head. One was crudded up real bad. Hello 8 cylinders!
Reset base idle screws
Reset idle speed.
Picked up an inch of vacuum! @16?!
Lubed chassis
Inflated tires + spare
Vacuumed interior for the 2nd time lol maybe the 3rd
Finished paint job, ran out of paint.
Changed bad rear side bulb
Switched fan clutches from HEAVY DUTY to STANDARD.

Installed new front light covers.
That pic is a month old. It really IS low in the back - half an inch or so. 3/4 on one side...
Nothin really, I wasted my day. Ye old '75 Blazer Destiny has come a very long way. It's turning out to be a real nice driver.

I saw a SWB round eye a while back with the SAME PAINT SCHEME. Damn! That looks cool! Flashes white side then turns silver, bad.ass. (aluminum)
We were goin opposite ways but he saw me seein him seein me. I bout flipped! I bet I had the same stupid look on my face as he had on his haha.

got the ecm for the LS swap done today. I had them leave torque management ON since it's stock 5.3/4L60e and 3.08 gears. Got all the parts in for the swap as well.
