About to order a bunch of interior stuff and weather stripping stuff for the doors for the '87. I hope to make good progress on the interior restore this summer.

Also getting anxious to get the '77 out of hibernation.

Put it on Craigslist, the work it needs costs more than I can buy a solid one for, with the wedding I need the money more than the truck [emoji17]

no more cargo light

Got rid of the cargo light in favor of a 3rd brake light, and start welding cab seam shut.

Just bought it yesterday. 1985, 350, 700R4, 208 xfer case
Adjusted the electric choke and fast idle this afternoon but that's it so far. Going to get my tags and insurance on her tomorrow and try to work on the A/C and see if the passenger side tank and switch are functional. Previous owner said he never used it because it costs too much to fill up both tanks. Hopefully it's not full of bad gas and rust. I'll pump some out with my electric pump and see what's in there.

Just finished cleaning up my engine bay wiring on my 87 and installing an O2 sensor, along with a coolant flush and some new antifreeze. Also chased down a coolant leak to the heater hose connection on the manifold. She seems to run a little better now, and the coolant no longer seems to disappear lol.

Tonight I'm swapping out the old Carter AFB for a 1406 that doesn't leak. Also putting in a fuel regulator to knock down the fuel pressure to 5 or 6 psi. Last week I finished up installing a camera for reversing into/near a trailer hitch. Put it on a switch so I can have it on whenever I want.
Did I mention the New Vintage gauges? I figured out it was a bad connection for the main power; fixed that and now I know THINGS about the engine and my speed!

New carbs are always fun and normally quick. Don't hold me to it, but I read somewhere that someone spoke to a tech at Edelbrock. He recommended 3-5 psi? Ring a bell anyone? I'll dig a bit to see if I can find it.

[edit] Link to a discussion on here about something I found elsewhere. In the first link I provide, someone mentions 1-6 psi per Edelbrock. I don't have an edelbrock, otherwise I would call them. Yes the link is for a gadgetgroove to improve your mileage, pay no mind to that, can't vouch for it. But since your going to put in a regulator, it would be easy to adjust to see if your mileage improves or not, and how that affects power etc, and/or call edelbrock and see what they say.

It was her and my two year old and neither was hurt so that's a very good thing!! Damage was pretty extensive but they're saying they'll fix it. Not sure if it should be fixed or not but we'll see how it is when I get it back

Ground off the rivets for the spare tire cross member after a fail with the $10 HF Air Hammer. It would have worked better if I didn't have a $10 HF grinder :)

Also stripped off all the electrical tape from the LS harness and have it laid out to strip unnecessary wires/connectors.

Fixed leaking switch/sensor above the oil filter. Didn't notice it was leaking until after I put engine restore in it.
