Couple things done. One is I've got a switch on my shifter that is a manual control for the lock up converter on the truck it's a 700R4 and towing, running in 3rd gear it just gives me control of the converter lock up with an on off switch. In overdrive the converter operates automatically, so when daily driving the truck I don't have to touch it, but with a heavy load or trailer I can control the converter lock up which helps to keep the temps down (as a side note I have a huge trans cooler and a gauge). I had an ugly switch tapped to the shifter, now I have a nice looking switch actually designed to be a switch for a 2 speed rear end. Look nice to me.

Then last week during the week my gear indicator stopped working. Took the indicator off and discovered that the end of the plastic where the wire attaches snapped off. So drilled a small hole in what was left and reattached the wire. It works fine like that but I'll probably order an LMC replacement, but it would be great if anyone has bought one of those if they'd let me know if they are decent quality. Here's my repair work.

And of course the entire time I'm in the cab of the truck working my supervisor is there making sure I do a good job.
