Couple things done. One is I've got a switch on my shifter that is a manual control for the lock up converter on the truck it's a 700R4 and towing, running in 3rd gear it just gives me control of the converter lock up with an on off switch. In overdrive the converter operates automatically, so when daily driving the truck I don't have to touch it, but with a heavy load or trailer I can control the converter lock up which helps to keep the temps down (as a side note I have a huge trans cooler and a gauge). I had an ugly switch tapped to the shifter, now I have a nice looking switch actually designed to be a switch for a 2 speed rear end. Look nice to me.

Then last week during the week my gear indicator stopped working. Took the indicator off and discovered that the end of the plastic where the wire attaches snapped off. So drilled a small hole in what was left and reattached the wire. It works fine like that but I'll probably order an LMC replacement, but it would be great if anyone has bought one of those if they'd let me know if they are decent quality. Here's my repair work.

Below: the hole I drilled to reattach the wire

And of course the entire time I'm in the cab of the truck working my supervisor is there making sure I do a good job.

I actually worked on my truck today! Started on installing my 08 Sliverado seats. I'm using another truck that has the interior stripped for the frame mockup. Full Install thread to come once I have it all figured out...

I like your wood sides, that's something I rarely see anymore.

how well does that sprayer attachment work? heard alot about them
great. I've got about 30 cans through it so far. Only $12 at lowes. I feel like I've got my moneys worth out of it.

Installed bench seat and saddle blanket, new lock cylinder, turn signal switch, tightened steering column with loctite, new wiper switch, new cruise control/wiper lever, all new interior leds including instrument panel, new speedometer cable, new dash speakers, cleaned all HVAC tubes, shampooed all carpet, new tailgate motor and relay, and a surprise new battery tonight lol I think that was it.

Was under the truck today and noticed I'm missing a bolt on the trans crossmember. NP208 w/2006 4l60E adapter, anyone know what size it is by chance? Would like to stop at the hardware store without removing the other one.

Not finding one in my spare bolt bin.

Thx guys
