Was doing some basic maintenance on the '79 crew cab. Basic stuff like greasing everything, checking u-bolt torque, etc and I was going to rotate the tires too. The fronts are rotted and worn poorly, figured I'd rotate them to the inside rears. To make life easier, removed the front wheels and installed my hummer wheels and tires that I had as spares, so I could just have one end of the truck jacked up at a time.
Well dang, I think I like it, lol. The wider fronts give it a beefy look that I dig. I may just leave it like that for a while. I'll remove the rear simulators and paint the rims to match the front. Or I'll paint the fronts to mach the rear. Not sure yet.
