I paid $6000.00 for my 1981 Chevy Silverado 4x4 K20 in 1984-85. 350/turbo 400/4:10 gears(Recent Photo in Avatar) It had 56k miles on it.
Still has Original paint. I added 4" DC springs in front, 2" blocks in rear, 16x10 eagle alloy rims, 35" tires, etc

Current value in 2024- $2,000,000 according to the young kid local Idaho hillbilly's :anitoof::rotflmao::rofl:

I'm a little embarrassed to say what I paid after reading what you guys paid.

A running 1975 or older (no smog) k-20 in So-cal is a rare thing these days. I've seen deals but if it's a drivable fixer-upper, they're generally low 5 figures. If it's a rust bucket and the entire motor is in the bed of the truck you can find those for around $7k.

Let's just say mine was still in the 4 digits (barely).
