That's pretty cool! When I worked at PAW, we never had any demo parts like that. On just about everything, the manufacturers either took the items back monthly/ quarterly or credited us and destroyed on site.

I had a friend that worked at Cycle World magazine and his job was to sell/ dispose of all the items sent in for advertising and/or reviews. He'd sell it for next to nothing. It was great if you always had the latest/ greatest bike but I was only able to take advantage of non-bike items like helmets/ leathers.

I've been to the Summit in Arlington, TX. Took my wife with me to keep me under control. She found out how I feel when she makes me go to the mall...lol

I think Summit Racing has a few stores throughout the states.
I just don't know if all or some have the Demo racks.
However; this one in Tallmadge, Ohio 44278, does. There are a few decent hotels within in 5 or 6 miles of the store.

If you come out, let me know. Maybe we can misbehave and get thrown out...lol

Here's a bin of "Expired" flex plates.
I would like to meet the ice salesman stationed in Alaska. He has to be the Einstein behind the idea of, steel parts with "expiration" dates.
Imagine, a piece of steel, which was perfectly good yesterday; is not so, today and for no other reason than 24 hours has passed.
How insane.
