Well as its a pop pop bumper keep it around till your like 70 and then bitch about not installing it 30 years ago...:D

I like the step bumpers. I've had the joy of slipping off the sport bumper, and connecting it with my knee on the way down. I'll keep the diamond plate. lol

Not sure on the older models, but I know the '86 OEM bumpers had the gray silicone that was mentioned earlier around the diamond plate. I have not seen a repro that has it.

I have a sale pending on this, so I was cleaning it up today. After washing all the dust off, I wanted to let the members who mentioned the grey silicone know that it DOES indeed have it on the edges of the plate. It kind of blended in with 30 years of dust, and I never noticed it before.

Yep. Wash off the 35 years of dust from sitting on a shelf, and a once over with some Never Dull, and it came out pretty good. It's on it's way to its new home as I type this.
