P.S., the 78 i owned briefly could run 15.5 1/4 miles times bone stock.

LM1 350 and i think 3.08 rear gear.

I was told that some had the 7.5 rear, but my old '78 had the 8.5 and it was even a 6 cyl car originally.

this car has the 8.5 in it 4th and OD is useless around town but handy on the highway the economy is nice on the interstate 1800 rpms at 75

I think 1980 or 1981 was the last year of the 70's styled bodies.... Whatever that year is with 4 doors, that is what I want. Crappy hubcaps and all.

use the 410s from the s10 to give it some balls. If it has the 7.5" you can use the standard s10 gears, if it has the 8.5 you will be limited to the 96+ 4wd 5spd and zr2/high rider trucks as they had the 8.5
