thanks, found it, how would i tell if it needs fixed/replaced?

You can usually listen for an audible click from the relay when you turn the key to the ignition on position (where it snaps back to after you start the car). You could also place your hand on it while someone turns the key and feel for the click, as well.

Theres also tips that makes your exhaust whistle like it has a turbo(at least they try to make it sound like it)

Yeah I saw those, I need to get the dual exhaust conversion for my V6 Mustang before I try anything like that.

Sweet, glad I was able to save you a little hassle and time. Swapping fuel pumps is no fun!

You fixed it already, but it the future you can tell by turning on the ignition and watching all the idiot lights come on, then after a second or two, you will hear a 'click' and a few of the lights will go out. If it doesn't do that, it's broke.

mine wont take to boost at all my car will blow up. from what ive seen through looking around the engine bay and the fact my rpo codes say my car came with the b20a1 and i have the b21a1 and the fact that im the only 3rd gen that dosnt burn oil im under the impression that the engine was rebuilt for high compression, i cant remember if i posted compression ratings here but im running almost 220 psi in every cylinder. normal for them right off the line is 175-180. and since its 20 years old, it should be more like 165-170. so yea.... pretty dope.
