I am still working on cleaning up my property so I can sell it and disappear, and I found two TH400 transmissions and a 241 driver side drop transfer case.
Is there any core value since the conditions of them are unknown, or should I just destroy them and throw them in the scrap load to be recycled ?

Are there many parts of the 241 driver side drop that will interchange with a passenger side drop T-case ?

Th400s around here typically go for 400$ each as a core

The np241 will sell for a nice dollat amount because the LS guys use them for the reluctor ring and VSS

If its 27 spline, itll go behind a 4L60e or 700r4. Maybe even a th350 with the correct adapter

The biggest problem is getting anybody to drive here to buy anything, too far, too remote, and the roads are too bad.

What's your plan, Kevin @mtnmankev ? I thought you were remote enough for now. You aren't in a witness protection deal are you, I hope!!!

Put them on Craig's List and E-Bay. Never scrap Classic American parts.

I have absolutely had it with the bad roads and most of the people in this area.
My health has declined so rapidly I can no longer maintain my home.

Th400 Chevy cores around here go for 125-150, add 75-100 bucks for the 4x4 stuff. I would have no clue as to transfer case value.

I wouldn’t scrap them! At the current scrap prices, you would be lucky to make enough to buy a meal at McDonalds.

They aren’t making parts for these trucks anymore, everything that goes to that big scrapyard in the sky brings the parts supply closer to obsolete.

@mtnmankev I think @Matt69olds is right about the 400 prices and there is a guy here in Idaho that will pay $150 for the 241. If a all possible try to sell them just to keep them alive!!! Do you know where you are gonna land?

I have no place to land and cannot afford a place.
Trying to keep this home and land going is now an impossible task, physically and financially.
Most likely I will be living in whatever square I keep and park where I can to sleep.
I am getting rid of everything I have and hope to have the property presentable enough to sell.
