In the old days when dinesors romed we cut one coll off same as a shorter spring we put a 1/4" shim that went all the way across it looks like you have auther problems throw.

@Drswiger,

I was re-reading your post and had a question, you did want to lower your truck, right? If you were going to get the stock spring, that would return your shims to normal. But i guess by now you've done what you were going to do.

Hopefully it does. Stock spring with 3 inch drop spindle. Have only done one side so far and don’t have the truck in the ground yet so will see. Was wrestling with stripped UCA bolts. Hoping the other side isn’t stripped
