This is a very strange issue because it only happens when I'm towing my trailer. It seems to run fine most of the time but at times it will loose power and some times act like it has a misfire.

In my 90 burb with stock 350 TBI motor.

Does it matter what the air temperature is?

verify spark plug wires and vacuum hoses. Random miss might come from a failing spark plug wire arcing to ground in certain conditions.

It doesn't seem to. Whats your thought about the air temp?

High air temp, heavy trailer load and winter grade fuel (lower boiling point) played hell with my '83 (carb'd). Got it under control by insulating the fuel line, also helped when I cleared the tanks of winter grade fuel.
