Tried sucking on the hose, but did not see any movement. Should it be enough just with normal human lung capacity? As the issue seem to get worse the hotter the car gets and with load on the engine this could make sense.

Edit: connected a pump to to vacuum advance, and its verified OK.

I’ve ordered new rotor and cap with coil as they was looking not to good anyways.
Maybe not everyone can make vacuum like I can lol. Hard to say what it might be. Maybe get a video of whats going on or Read back through other people's suggestions and troubleshoot those.

My guess is your electronic ignition control module is going bad. I had a Chevy Vega long ago that suddenly had the same symptoms. Managed to limp to an auto parts store and bought a new one late at night just before they closed. Changed it in their parking lot and it ran perfect.

I guess its time for an update.
Replaced the rotor, distributor cap and cleaned the carburetor.

Result: truck never ran better in my ownership! Much better throttle response, more power and better acceleration, especially uphill.

Im calling this solved (as of know )
