Debugged turn signals and some other stuff. No instructions in the owners manual about programming a fob, just instructions on having the dealer do it. I picked up the factory service manual on eBay, it will be here shortly. I'm still trying to figure out how the jack assembly is intended to bolt to the body. I need a new switch for the user controlled light on the grab handle in the rear, and lenses for both. I also know whose fleet the rig came from; Security Contractor Services... They build chain link fence. Can't seem to get the third brake lamp to work.

1. Remove driver’s side back body pillar finish panel to access programming connector. It’s in the rear
compartment between tail-light and wheel well.
2. Ground the programming connector to a suitable location. The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid
lock assembly or end gate window solenoids will cycle indicating receiver assembly is in program mode.
3. Press any button (only once) on transmitter. The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid lock
assembly or end gate window solenoids will cycle once confirming that transmitter code is programmed. Any
transmitter code that was previously programmed has been erased. Receiver assembly is now programmed to the
transmitter assembly.
4. If programming a second transmitter (including your old one) press any button (only once) on the second
transmitter. This must be done before program connector is disconnected. The door lock assemblies and rear
compartment lid lock assembly or end gate window solenoids will cycle once confirming that second transmitter is
programmed.
5. Disconnect the programming connector.
6. Test transmitters for function.

Yup, that's the procedure, I tried it on mine and the locks never cycled.

I heard the phrase "tongue punch 'er in the fart box" on Tosh.0 a few years ago, I'm sure Retro just brought it to GMSB.

What 'module' is that? I did try the unlock button on the driver door and got nothing. I have a feeling I am going to have to do some diagnosis.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is something blocking me... I had to replace the little T24 marker bulb before my right front turn signal would operate. It seems like it must depend on a ground through that bulb.

Now I just need to find the key fob, preferably the Oldsmobile marked unit. strangely enough, I was looking at that very connector today while trying to figure a way into the locked compartment on that side. There's also a two pin connector there for some undiscovered purpose as well.

Being it was a Chubby Blonde and the same phrase, it just has Jay wrote all over it.

The module is the black box that does the work.

Tosh is an *******.

Chubby Blonde? She looks like she could get a job with the Coast Guard as a buoy.

Hmm. Hopefully there is some testing info in the manual. I have found several Oldsmobile marked entry fobs on eBay. How do I identify the right unit?

Anyone know what bulb the under hood lamp takes? All I found were bits and pieces ala crushed up crack pipe...

Jep, but I was trying to be nice and not call her a biggo fat pig obese beached whale. Ya never know what kind of disorder, whether it be physical, mental or both. Obviously she at least has a sense of humor and obviously some thick skin and can probably take the negative words being she posed for the pic and had to have expected some not so nice things said.

If I can find my can of Key Fobs, I'll look through it and see if I might have 1, 2 or 3 of those FOBs. I do have a small collection from when I was pulling Copart cars full time. Every now and then customers had 2 and if it wasn't required or one of the high dollar Fobs, I only hung what was necessary on the column, a door and ignition key.

I got mine out and here's the numbers on it

P/N: 10205240

FCC ID: ABO0104T

I only have one and it does have the proper Oldsmobile Rocket logo on it.

I need to repair the PS return line in my DD Trailblazer, so until I either decide to repair the hard line or replace it, I'm DDing the Olds.
